An Ugg boot-obsessed pervert who harassed a group of schoolgirls using social networking websites has been described as "sexually deviant" and jailed for four years.**** *****, 38, infiltrated a group of girls at a secondary school in the Leeds area by assuming other children's identities on sites such as Facebook, MSN and MySpace.
***** pleaded guilty at Leeds Crown Court to three counts of inciting sexual activity involving a 15-year-old girl and six offences of harassing teenage girls.
The court heard he developed an online relationship with the 15-year-old girl, telling her repeatedly that he loved her and wanted her to be his girlfriend, and suggested she took part in a series of sex acts.
Unemployed ***** also discussed drugging another young girl and had bought chloroform over the internet in the past. The court heard this other girl was the subject of a "concerted campaign" by the defendant, which included impersonating her father in order to obtain information about her from her school.
*****'s mobile phone was found to contain an enormous number of "non-indecent" photographs of teenage girls wearing Ugg boots and the court heard he asked a number of the girls questions about this sort of footwear. He has admitted having a fetish involving the popular sheepskin boots.
Psychiatric reports found ***** had "abnormal levels of sex drive" and a previous court hearing was told he said he would benefit from chemical castration.
